BuildSigned is built by Miurata. It does one thing: it makes the money move when the work is done, for contractors who bill the homeowner directly in the United States and Canada.
If you bill a general contractor, this is not for you yet
The buyer is the general contractor, remodeler or residential installer who invoices the property owner. Not the subcontractor billing a GC, and not commercial work under AIA A201, where the architect is the one who certifies. Saying so costs us leads and saves you a bad month.
We say verified
Never certified. Certifying code compliance is the work of an accredited special inspector, and several jurisdictions bar the contractor from hiring whoever certifies them.
A named human signs
The automated agent assembles the record and proposes. It never signs, and it never certifies. Every approval that moves money carries a name, a time and a reason.
This is not collections
Not debt collection, not accounts receivable management, not chasing anyone on your behalf. Calling it that would change what the law expects of us, and of you.
We do not hold your money
Funds move between you and your client through the rails you connect. We confirm the payment landed. We never take custody of it.

The most useful thing you can tell us is how long you waited for your last progress payment, and what you did in the meantime. That answer is what decides what gets built next.
